RealLisse Vegan Smoothing System

Description

RealLisse involves the use of a special catalyst solution and a high-heat flatiron.

During the service, the high heat of the flatiron temporarily opens the hair’s cuticle and temporarily breaks the disulfide curl bonds. While the bonds are open, the vegan proteins go to work. The tiny protein particles are guided by our non-toxic, bio-compatible penetrant to insert themselves and fix those disulfide curls bonds open, thereby lessening curl and frizz formation. Not all curl bonds are fixed open, and a percentage of curl bonds held is client-dependent.

These protein particles wash away over time, gradually reinstating curl and frizz. The more often you wash, or the more you use a harsh (outside of 4.5-5.5pH) shampoo, the faster protein particles wash away, causing faster reversion of the disulfide curl bonds.

Our RealLisse retail after care products contain silicone. Silicone is used for a smoother texture, and to help keep the protein particles in place. They enhance a smoother texture, provide wonderful shine, and prolong the effects of the smoothing treatment in addition to providing gentle cleansing, deep moisturizing and conditioning.
